Loved Ones Come First, Grandma Gets Her First Look

Grab the tissue box (this one's a tearjerker)...

When grandma knew she couldn’t be there for AJ and Courtney’s ceremony this Saturday at Jorgensen Farms, AJ & Courtney still wanted her to feel a part of their special day. Covid can perhaps keep families physically distant, but Grandma is the matriarch of this family and gets things done. Just consider her battle over cancer. So, she threw her walker in the Gator and saw her granddaughter in her wedding dress. I'm not crying.. you're crying..

And so, while Covid is rearranging wedding plans all over, that doesn’t mean we can’t pivot so even the most vulnerable can still feel connected to the bride and groom’s special day.

I think the best wedding photographs infuse a little bit of where you’ve come from with where you’re going. A 100-year-old family farm is a great start (Alexa play 100 Years by Five for Fighting). Add three generations of strong women, a bride & groom, a golden sunset, and there you have it.

That's all for now! If you're considering hiring a photographer soon, check out my FAQs or shoot me a message. I'd love to vibe over a cup of coffee.
